While collecting materials for a grant proposal, I revisited a lot of old artwork and spent a lot of time looking back on the old interests and working to tie it all together with current work.

Creating landscapes is a complex process - there are so many different ways to structure and erode it. I love traveling the worlds I make. Invariably I get lost in the erosion patterns that are created. Recently, I have been interrogating the landscape for things like wear, deposition, curvature, and slope. I use these sorts of data to make things like this:
